What you feel is far from the reality of high quality gen 1 gameplay. I do agree that gen 1 being bo5 is better overall, this due to the potential of unplayable games due to luck that is not due to team gen. I think that most gen 1 rands players who have played in rbtt before would agree with me...

I really like this bo3 of modern gens. 1-3 I feel may be harder because I think there’s a lot fewer players who play all 3 at a high level, but I think the format overlap bo3 could be a really nice addition
