No doubt biggest change by NerFreak are the BP 110 elementals (and the HPs if confirmed); just those alone will massively shake up the meta as we will be certainly seeing more Victories scored by non-elemental Pokes such as Scizor, Aerodactyl and even Skarmory. The weather nerfs are nothing next...

LifeOrb is not a pre-requisite to a Pkmn's power, just a n00b item brought in too immensely boost offensive stats. So the makers wanted to show a Mons true power from the off. Absolutely loving the MegaEvos and willing to forgive a massive shortcomings in the actual new additions!
