Actually stench now provides a chance of flinching, which is nice with SS, I use Gunk shot for the raw power, but Poison Jab could be a option. Both for evostone and for oran, defense evs are better than HP evs, but if you'd want to run lefties you could run more HP on him.

I have used TR and I can say it's still viable. The evostone has made it harder to make the most out of those TR turns, but evostone also made it a lot easier to set up. When TR is up it's not as deadly as it was in gen 4, but it'll be up a lot more during a match than 4th gen.

If I where to run Sun in LC I would probably use Bellsprout over Bulbasaur anyways. It has got weather ball and sucker punch, two moves that Bulbasaur hasn't got, I wouldn't say that sun teams are completely screwed over, and the only GOOD abuser they lost was Bulbasaur. I could still see sun...
