  1. VGC Newbie with Rain Hyper Offence

Thank you for responding, I'll play around with the Hitmontop. I'm unsure of Swords Dance in doubles, cause Scizor typically won't live long enough to make very effective use of it, but I don't know. Also, how good is Trick Room Rain? It seems like it would require a lot of set up.
  2. VGC Newbie with Rain Hyper Offence

First off, I’m relatively new to competitive battling. I’ve gathered opinions and made a team, but I’ve never actually been to a VGC tournament. On to the aforementioned team, it is a hyper-offense rain team, in which the strategy is, more or less, KO those sweepers before they have a chance to...
  3. It Will Rain, And You Will Cry

^ I've actualy tried Kabutops, but he is incredibly fragile, so I am hesitant. I'll go ahead and try it again though.

    No one posting?
  6. It Will Rain, And You Will Cry

    1. Well, I've played a reasonable amount of games (75-125, roughly, in all of this teams assorted forms) on it on PO, but where I'm from has a practically non-existant VGC community. Testing depends on how you define it, and I was speaking of against serious teams face-to-face, not just agaist...
  7. It Will Rain, And You Will Cry

This is a VGC tournament team, which is basically doubles but only getting 4 pokemon per battle, with item clause. The idea is to start with Politoad, or switch into Polytoad turn 1 to get rain up, which my entire team relies on. This team, though is very weak to Trick Room, and with Breloom...
