    Omfg wow that's pure evil

That's the set I run but I went with earthquake over crunch for Aegislash and King's shield.

    Pokémon Infernape

I've been using this set as a mixed anti lead: Infernape @ Life Orb Ability: Blaze EVs: 252 Spa / 252 Spe / 4 HP Timid Nature -Taunt -U-turn -Flamethrower -Brick Break Taunt something like Forretress, burn Skarm, Brick Break screeners, and U-turn Smeargle and go into a Spore absorber. Has so...

    Pokémon Zygarde

Yes we can all agree that Land's wrath is indeed a game changing move. For those interested in basing a set around it, here is a helpful list of the myriad reasons to use it over Earthquake: doubles :)

    Pokémon Victini

The first thing that jumps out at me when I read this OP is the calc for banded V-create against Greninja. I thought this move was supposed to wreck stuff but no guaranteed OHKO on a quite frail pokemon is slightly disappointing.

    Pokémon Charizard

True however, this generation, weather inducers have been greatly nerfed, so struggle to justify a team slot, unless they also carry offensive potential. Therefore, while something like Tyranitar and Charizard Y can change the weather and pose an immediate threat, the likes of Politoed have had...

    Pokémon Aegislash

On the subject of synergistic team options, I've found Mega-Tyranitar to be useful. Aegislash covers the fighting, fairy and bug weakness, so could safely switch into say, mega Heracross. It doesn't take sand damage which is nice, and if you get it in on a choice item user, it can set up. On the...

    Pokémon Charizard

Adamant Charizard out-speeds positive natured pokes up to Rotom-W. This means that Lucario, Gliscor, Hydreigon and Haxorus are the only real differences. In the 100 speed tier, Salamence and Volcarona are the only real ones of note. On that note who knew Miltank had 100 speed! As far as I'm...

    Pokémon Breloom

One small nitpick about the Scarf set. It's worth pointing out that Talonflame out-speeds Breloom with Brave Bird unless you use Mach Punch, and even this move is dependent on nature.

    Pokémon Charizard

Thanks, very helpful calcs, I'll be running dd for sure.

    Pokémon Scizor

Quick question regarding Fury Cutter and Technician. Does the move still get the boost from the ability when it's power increases past 60?

    Pokémon Heracross

I personally still prefer scarfed moxie heracross. If either form does make it to OU, finding a way around Talonflame will be it's biggest problem. The mega is cool and scary if you've killed all its counters but then, so are most pokes. If I'm limited to just 1 mega evo, I can't see myself...

    Pokémon Tyranitar

IMO mega-Tyranitar has the edge as a lead, for its extra special bulk when running SR. With regards to taking physical hits, Earthquake and U-turn won't exactly be wrecking it. Mega-Tar is crying out to be paired with a ghost for fighting attacks. For example, something like Aegislash could...

    Pokémon Mew

I agree that there is little reason for Mew to be promoted this gen. Defog is cool but I hate removing my own entry hazards, Knock off is, as you said, well distributed. One set I have used with (some) success is as a surprise final receiver in a baton pass chain. If you pair it with espeon, you...

    Pokémon Charizard

+2 jolly Charizard OHKOs Dragonite through multiscale with outrage, not sure if +1 does that? You'd be more vulnerable to something like Garchomp but I suppose flame charge could help. An SD set's viability would be based on damage calculations vs stuff that Charizard out-speeds, maybe it could...
