    Aha, so it's fine if I don't see huge stat increases to an EV-trained Pokemon with the Rare Candy method?

    If I finish EV training a Pokemon at a lower level (about 25), is it then recommended to use rare candies to level the Pokemon up to 100? I know that rare candies don't affect EVs, but whenever I use rare candies to my EV trained Poke, the stats are not going as high as they should.
