    I spose I should've specified a little more. So I'm EV training my Pokerus'd Scizor (who I hatched from an egg and immediately evolved) with a Power Anklet vs the Starly around Sandgem, and I'm still getting crappy stat gains.

    Why is it that when I'm EV training a PkMn that just hatched, the stat increases aren't astronomical like when I lv a 50 or so PkMn?
