They get absorbed by switching in a Poison Type, not sure about Gengar or Crobat, as they are Levitators... Maybe only those Poisons that normally would get poisoned are able to absorb Toxic Spikes... Btw, Steelix didn't blew away Toxic Spikes, and in a Double Battle, both opponents fields are...

No. There was a message that they were removed... I used Toxic Spikes after that another 2 times and they didn't failed.... @AzureWraith: Castform didn't change to Rock in Adv, iirc, but that might has changed....

I don't know, whether it was noticed earlier, but my Toxic Spikes were blown away as my opponent brought Roselia in. Maybe because it's a poison type. I don't know whether Steels blow away, though, but Levitators don't.

Why are you all crying about this? Look at all those RMT and tell me, how much of them use a special attack to counter Tyranitar. The most used TTar counters seem to use physical Attacks, as Waters don't take SE good enough. Hippowdon, Rhyperior, Swampert, Glion, Donphan can simply use STAB...

Yeah, as Mekkah said, an Ascarf set might be good on this guy. You'll still have a HIGH Crit chance making it an awesome Hit&Run Sweeper. Or if you get lucky, you might just stay in and finish something off.....

I think we should be happy, that there's no physical Blissey. Imagine someone uses both of them in his team, what are you going to do? A physical Blissey would introduce even more Stall Wars.....

Metagross biggest problem are it's stab moves imo. Neither is Steel nor is Psychic a great attacking type... It has to rely on Thunderpunch to hit Waters, whereas Tyranitar, for example, just can use it's standart Stab moves.....

Probopass won't harm anything. It's best move is Flash Cannon (75 S.Atk Base). It will have trouble to even 3hko Azelf(no Leftovers), even Stoss does better, which it can't learn. And Magnet Rise sucks if you have to switch in. Seems that Gamefreak just throws together Pokemon with high stats...

In this case, Hard rock just eliminates STAB, leaving the 4* weakness. Rhyperior might or might not survive. I wouldn't rely on it....
