Also not entirely true, gastro acid elektross can also be a viable partner. Not only can it suppress the ability with gastro acid it can also use giga drain which since you just made it solely water type will do a ton of damage and heal you back some XD

The soak strategy has a major flaw I have learned from pokemon showdown. If the ability of the target absorbs electric moves it still makes electric moves useless, and also makes the only weakness of the soaked pokemon grass, which btw mow rotom is the only electric grass type. That being said...
