    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

tbh i wouldn't rule out anything yet. they're basically going to have to make on-the-fly decisions for every move on every mon because of how inconsistent their own games are lol

    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

The reason I don't have them is basically just because those moves haven't been "relevant" in a VGC setting (especially since after SWSH there's move resets), and if they're not obtainable since I am just marking their point of last learn in the rightmost column instead (work in progress). I'll...

    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

Made a big dumb table of movelearns to compare against Champions when we have lists. Also compares to SWSH / BDSP / SV / PLZA for reference purposes (might add PLA but that game's movelearns were kind of wack). Trying to make a point to label any anomalies I spot in my data (I labeled any old...

    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

Probably better to wait for lists than to rely on piecemeal relaying from people playing a demo. Though people will define losses differently. I'm a freak so I will probably compare SWSH, SV, PLZA and Champions on my sheet, eventually

Yeah I could see just having things ready if they added any of those mons. It's not like the lists take too long to make, and they're not afraid to revise them.

    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

For PLZA-learned moves I think I'm expecting many gains to be carried EXCEPT for boosting moves. Which is kind of how Arceus played out, overall. Won't know until we see the full lists, obv. Worth noting: The old HOME TM compatibility leak had Greninja learning Skitter Smack. It didn't end up...

    Pokémon Champions - releasing April 8, 2026

Excited to see all the weird little quirks that are coming for this. Aside the Sharpness changes, and the PP changes I'm super curious how learnsets are even handled. I was thinking at first the game might have certain "available" TMs but it really seems a lot more granular than that, with lists...

    Research Legends: Z-A Mechanics Research

Water Shuriken seems to have a power difference between its normal and plus version, 15 vs 75, which makes that pretty easy to detect the difference on. Icicle Spear however is just 25 in both forms, as is Comet Punch (with 30). I can't seem to find where this difference is laid out, but I guess...

    Research Legends: Z-A Mechanics Research

Looking at the new arrays Anubis posted. The Real Time data table has the 247 entries corresponding to usable moves, plus about 400 more that likely represent various moves used by bosses and non-Pokemon enemies. The personal table is interesting though. Moves have a minimum of two entries on...

Small Site Page Changes - (Typos, Poor Wording, Inaccuracies, Etc.)

Wind Rider and Wind Power both contain the same sentence: However, Wind Rider activates and gives the Attack boost when switching in to user-side Tailwind as well. This effect is not shared with Wind Power. As such, Wind Rider should have its description amended accordingly.

I had asked a similar question about Gigaton Hammer and, eventually, Hard Press to this effect. While I don't have footage I do have damage calcs that I took manually while checking to confirm they both do not, which is a shame! They seem perfectly suited. Gigaton Hammer: NOPE Hard Press...

Done Rock Blast, Bullet Seed et al missing reference to Loaded Dice

Considering 1) Skill Link is mentioned specifically on their pages 2) Loaded Dice is mentioned on Population Bomb's page, and Population Bomb is mentioned on Loaded Dice's page It stands to reason that including the 4-5 hits portion on multi-hit move pages would make sense. Conversely, Loaded...

Done Substitute, Sticky Web, Spikes, Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock move descriptions missing mention of removal by Tidy Up

While these functions are all mentioned on Tidy Up's description itself, the hazards all individually mention Defog, Mortal Spin and Rapid Spin but NOT Tidy Up. Additionally, this removal aspect is missing entirely from Substitute.
