Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
You can get it from a Smeargle or from a Togetic (Togetic -> Pikachu/Spinda/Komala/Togedemaru -> Evee).
Togekiss can be obtained with the Island Radar (Poni Island on Tuesday).
The chain doesn't break when the called species if different than the initial Pokémon.
The ally chain in itself is...
Sleep prevents call from allies, I can ensure that (I used Spore multiple times for captures, and you directly see the 1 Hp Pokémon stop calling for help).
I still ran a test with a Pikipek (at 1 HP + Adrenaline Orb he calls for help at leat 95% of the time), and out of the 17 sleeping turns he...
Yup, paralyze and sleep prevent from calling for allies.
That's a good way to stop them, which is good for captures but bad if you make a mistake.
About capsules, I got a 2-star lottery on the plaza and it gave me a silver one (I rolled ona 2). I don't know if this was really lucky or not...
Exactly. I tested with Synchronize, with Synchronize lost (with Roleplay), and with a KO/non KO first party Pokémon.
Exactly, Synchronize is only taken into account for ally calls when the Synchronizer is in battle.
If you put Synchronize in first party slot and chain allies normally, this...
Yup, the bug SOS Call chains and Synchronized is now confirmed.
When you send a Pokémon with Synchronize on the field and chain for allies, the allies will be affected by Synchronize.
However, the nature that they will have 50% of the time is the nature of the first party Pokémon.
The first...
Basically, use the list and search for a Pokémon. If it isn't here, it has a call rate of 0.
As for wild Pokémon, it seems that only Wimpod and Minior have a Call Rate of 0.
For the Pokémon that are SOS Call-exclusive, some have a non-zero Call Rate, and some don't.
But in general, you don't...
Adrenaline Orb doesn't increase the Call Rate, but increase the chance to call for an ally (like remaining HP).
I never tried chaining without Adrenaline Orb since it's cheap and easy to get.
However, even at 1 HP + Adrenaline Orb, a Pokémon with a Call Rate of 0 will never call for allies.
For...
It seems so.
I'm still testing if you need the Pokémon to have Synchronize as its original ability to get it to work, or if a copied Synchronize works. (It seems that you need to have Synchronize originally. Kadabra who lost Synchronize with ForePlay seems to still affect the nature of new...
You can Sketch a move Sketched by a Smeargle (they are easy to meet in Route 2), or Sketch a transformed Ditto.
Yup, since the fighting Pokémon is placed in the first party slot, the Synchronizer needs to be fighting if you want it to affect the allies. Having a KO Synchronize in your party...
Oh yeah, False Swipe + Thief + Skill Swap + Subsitute and you're good to go. Too bad that it can't be obtained with the Island Radar. (Edit : Gallade doesn't have Synchronize, my bad.)
Else, you gave me the idea for another set :
Kadabra, Synchronize : Synchronize, .. , .. , ..
Smeargle ...
The easiest way to do know that is to use Entrainment/Worry Seed/Synchronize/Skill Swap to see what the Pokémon's ability was.
With a Smeargle (or two) you can combine False Swipe, an offensive move, Entrainment, Subsitute/Recycle
(Recycle if you don't have many Leppa Berries, Substitute if you...
Apparently, the trick to fish rare Pokémon is to enter/exit the area until you find a spot with tippling water.
Fishing spots with rippling water have encounter slots where the usual rare Pokémon is way more frequent, and you can save/reset them if you don't get the Pokémon you want...
I have a 3-star Johto tent, but it is a fortune-teller one (tells me which stand would benefit me and makes me learn a new sentence).
The shopping Johto tent maybe has a different name in french.
Is there information about the amout of EVs given by the training in the Drifblim tent ? The text...
Oh okay, I forgot that point. Damn..
Since Corsola has Recover at Lv 8-19, would leaving it to half-HP with Super Fang be a nice alternative ? (if one Mareanie attack does less than half of Corsola's HP).
You could also use Heal Pulse first in order to heal Corsola, then put Mareanie asleep and...
