That's a good point.

But everything runs a -speed nature. Even Tyranitar can outslow Mega Abomosnow if it carries macho brace. Mega Abomoasnow won't be outslowing very much at all. Macho brace pretty much defines this metagame since it "boosts" speed twice as much as choice scarf without the locked moveset.

I don't think megas are very strong in this metagame since they can't carry macho brace.

Shell Smash Swoobat is here, it's got a fighting move with more power than aura sphere, get used to it.

After playing averagemons for a while I've found that it's incredibly important to put max speed and a speed boosting nature on everything that doesn't boost it's speed or move mainly through priority. Even walls benefit from the boosted speed as they can get in a recovery move faster.

I think Talonflame at least has gotten a real offensive boost. Even though defenses for most pokemon have increased, there aren't any extremely physically defensive walls anymore. Now Talonflame can 1 hit any non-resistant pokemon without defense evs after one swords dance if it holds sharp...

But you can use explosion with just a little bit of HP left. With final gambit, you usually have to use it before making any other moves if you want it to do a lot.

I do too. It's definitely my MVP. I find that max speed/hp timid unaware Clefable is able to outstall the vast majority of the metagame, and makes boosters fair less threatening.

True, but the best thing about my Gengar is its 100% accuracy hypnosis. I think I'll stick with the Gengar I have; I just want to figure out how to make Machamp usable.

I've been having a lot of success using no-guard Gengar with hypnosis, focus blast, thunder, and shadow ball. However, the only problem is to use it I'm stuck with either a Machamp or Golurk without no guard. So far the Machamp I've been using has been the LVP on my team. Anyone have any good...
