    SPOILERS! General Pokémon Anime Discussion

I want you guys to consider something - What if, in the anime's narrative, Ash is supposed to lose every league tournament? Ignore the generation it is, ignore the next coming generation, just think about the rule of "Ash is supposed to lose". Now with this in mind, consider looking at this...

    SPOILERS! General Pokémon Anime Discussion

I personally don't see why Ash really needs a mega Pokemon at all. If his Greninja has a Forme that works like a mega, then... That basically solves the dilemma. I don't have the time to watch the entire anime, so I rely on summeries to figure out what's been going down in the series. And so...

SPOILERS! Mysteries and Conspiracies of Pokemon

Well, from how I think of it, shininess works like this - Very rarely, would a Pokemon be born with an off color from its peers. Akin to how the virus Pokérus is rare in the wild (But can spread like wildfire, before the strain "settles" into the infected, for the lack of a proper term), not all...

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

On the other hand, Garbodor looking so docile expresses its own character as well - The fact that in nature, Garbodor AREN'T OUT to be a menace, but are innocent trash creatures, compared to Grimer and Muk (in some sprites and art - Even they were different slightly in Gen 1) being more of...

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

I GUESS the idea is how the Protector somehow changed Rhydon SO MUCH, its scaly body became more like the Earth (Hence, being round, brown and all rocky). Personally, I don't mind the colors together, but then that's getting more into subjectivity.

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

Complaining about Rhyperior's color scheme is sort of odd, if you consider the fact that it evolves via the Protector. Think of it this way - Rhydon became one with this armor plating, which made it rounder, beefier, and practically a tank. It makes sense to me.

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

Just a tiny nitpick, Game Freak didn't even know they'd HAVE a Pokemon 2, so I generally lap Gens 1 and 2's designs into the same fold, in terms of how their Pokemon look fairly simple. I still believe Gen 2 had a tiny bit more work done on some Pokemon, considering how Hoothoot has cool clock...

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

You guys DO know the theme of Gen 5 (If I recall it well, it's been a while since I read any interviews...) is the fact that Game Freak intentionally wanted to start with basics, right? That theme persisted all throughout the generation, the idea of being in a new "Gen 1" region, a locale far...

    Let's talk about Pokémon designs

Oh hai!, I have a few POWERFUL OPINIONS when it comes to Pokemon Design, so of course, I shall talk about them here. I'll only do three of the bullet points tonight, since upon proofreading what I've been typing up... I kind of made a word storm. And I'd rather not bother anyone with my Huge...

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

I'd assume Zygarde would get development in either Su/Mo, or even the next game after. It has a lot of attention in the anime, and there's nothing stopping Game Freak from trying to tie in Kalos' legends with a different region's, non?

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

Esmeya brought this up to me, but I like the fact that Litten is SE on Rowlet. Because fire cats beat grass birds, you see. I'm also thinking that Litten'll go either Poison or Dark down the line, but it's way too early to make any speculations on typing, at least in my book. (Though Norne 's...

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

Real trainers love all the Pokemon. I mean, all 5 things they revealed look really rad to me. (Litten is my friend. Best Fire-type starter)

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

While I too don't like N, I understand the basis of his character - To his perspective, humans are really awful to Pokemon. He sees Pokemon as humans' slaves, that they don't have their own free will. Hence why N uses the term "friend" when it comes to Pokemon, and he uses Pokemon from the...

    SPOILERS! General Pokémon Anime Discussion

This is kind of reminding me of Megaman Battle Network's Full Synchro. I am pretty okay with this, especially as Pokemon-Amie is a nod to the franchise's desire for trainers and Pokemon to be like one.
