Last question, I promise :p When a speed tie occurs between 2 pokemon, will the pokemon who won the speed tie 'win' all futher speed ties against the opposing pokemon if both stay in? Or are speed ties calculated each and every time two pokemon of the same speed use moves? Thank you.

I was wondering what happened when a pokemon uses U-turn on the same turn your opponent's pokemon uses Protect. I know Protect nullfies the damage of U-turn, but does it also block the effect of U-turn?
