Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Asking a similar question to the one that Samsuro did, why is :Electivire: unranked? Great Atk and Speed tier, good ability if you are able to predict Volt Switch from the new Rotom-Mow for example and great coverage options in my opinion (being even possible to use it as an special attakcer)
I don't know how good is to accept that the metagame will be less healthy due to the presence of :Palafin-Hero:. I am not going to pursue reqs, I have no time during this period of the year, but I would not be sure of what to vote. On the one hand, I consider that :Palafin-Hero: has more options...
What I am sure you have to include is ZardY, if you want to click buttons just try it... Weather Ball 2HKO most of the metagame and when it doesn't you just can spam Solar Beam or Sorching Sands... I like to combine suns with Protosynthesis users such as Great Tusk, Raging Bolt...
By the way...
I am voting :Tapu-Lele: because you can actually see this set in the ladder, however congrats to Kin+ak (✧∇✧) for that astonishing threat, I would have never seen that coming if playing against that :Rillaboom:
Hi I have come back to the tier and I have some questions, more from a newbie person POV really. What's the "best" style to play in the tier? It is possible that Sticky Web is less played than in OU? What are the staples of the tier, and what simple and actual team can I try to get a glance of...
What about AV Glowking with Flamethrower to stop Corv's usage? Glowking is a very used Pokemon, the best specially defensive in the tier in my opinion, with a great versatility of moves and 2 main sets played right now in OU:
Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type...
You have much powerful STAB Close Combat in Great Tusk and Zama and due to its 105 base Atk (which would be considered mediocre in the tier, for not saying bad because it is not as bad) you are not gaining nothing in using it as a physical attacker, as it is usually played in other tiers.
Maybe...
The problem I have recently suffered when using Araquanid, and also I have taken advantage of when playing against it, is CB Rillaboom as an anti-lead OHKOing our beloved spider with ease using Wood Hammer
Great Tusk @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Water
Jolly Nature
- Headlong Rush
- Close Combat
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Spinner
Don't really have much to say, Great Tusk outspeeds both Gliscor and Gholdengo and OHKOes them with his ATK boosted attacks.
