Been talking about this with Cryo and Gato, and it seems like Drumstickgaming also brought it up in this thread recently, but I think BW2 is insanely overrated and a mess to play through. Me Gato and Cryo were talking about it, but I'm honestly pretty ehhh on the Castlevania announcement. Curse of Belmont looks good as a game, but it does not look like a Castlevania game. Not too many comments on the script atm since it's still very clearly WIP shape. But my main recommendations are 1. Try to avoid Smogon Fluff as much as possible. Me, Cryo, and Gato have been playing Silksong and are past Greymoor. We might force ourselves to play more, but we're heavily tempted to drop it. Is the game bad? Ehhh, not really? Is the game unfun?
