    Ok, so the base stats are determined for every single pokemon race? It doesn't change from the first Scizor I catch to second Scizor? Nothing like IVs, if you know what I mean? :)

    Thanks. I'll just sum it up to ensure that I got it right. Let's say my pokemon has 20 HP statpoints. Would the same pokemon actually have 35 HP statpoints including the invisible 15 IVs, which is given as a permanent numer to this pokemon?

    Wel, I'm doing to exact same thing! For HeartGold I chose a Totodile with adamant nature, and further in the game I usually train a couple of more pokes with good natures. I hate going mono, because I've did that in all my previously games. No fuun (:

    QUESTION; What I do when I EV-train is, I use the Counter App on the Poketch, and say I'm EV training for speed; I KO a Magikarp while holding Power Anklet, and I tally up 5 EVs for each Magikarp (4+1), until I get 252 Speed (which is my goal). Does this mean that I need to KO 50 Magikarps...
