Well if you think about it, it goes in waves. For a period of time, the tier gets offensive, than because it reaches the climax and most people are using offensive teams. Then the tier will become more defensive and when it all becomes defense/stall, it goes back to offense again.

This looks like a very good team but I cannot use Zoruark cuz I'm bad at pokemon lol. Also you didn't add me *induce bashing sequence*

You can also run a pokemon with Overcoat like Mandibuzz and Escavilier or run a strong grass type like Shaymin or Roserade.

My personal opinion is no. If a team doesn't have a sleep user, it wastes a move slot that could be coverage for another pokemon [for example Heracross losing Knock Off loses coverage to Ghost types like Doublade, Cofagrigus, and Jellicent]
