Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Given that Ursaluna Bloodmoon got banned, I would like to submit another core as a replacement:
:rillaboom::sneasler: Offensive Core
Rillaboom @ Leftovers
Ability: Grassy Surge
Tera Type: Fire / Grass
EVs: 204 HP / 252 Atk / 52 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- Drain...
Edited the post to specify the types. While I feel Ogerpon + Ace would fit more onto Offensive cores, the presence of Glowking + Zamazenta on Balanced cores make for a solid argument for placing the core on the latter. Honestly there's no wrong answer of where it would fit best:smogduck:
Offensive Pivot Ogerpon-Wellspring
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Taunt / Encore
- U-turn
Taunt or Encore are 100% required to beat Manaphy, as it otherwise...
Ah, I see. Yeah, I have to say my experience facing Amoonguss has been quite scarce to say the least, which is why I wondered what makes it a serious competitor in this meta. Not to mention that most of my teams are heavy voltturn spam BOs, so I just defaulted to run Eject Button Amoonguss, not...
Just wondering what puts Amoonguss above Landorus-T and Heatran. Between the neverending HO teams I run into in ladder and the fact most threats that in theory checks (Sneasler and Iron Valiant come to mind) can muscle through it quite easily thanks to SD Tera-boosted coverage (Acrobatics and...
and to A-: The discovery of the 3 Attacks Roost and the occasional Choice Specs have really brought Zapdos new life, as it's powerful, spammable Hurricanes hit a great majority of the tier for considerable damage, and it's access to Heat Wave further differences itself from Tapu Koko, it's main...
Hey there, some feedback:
I think it's important to highlight Skarm's advantages and disadvantages over Ferrothorn as a Spikes setter. The most important ones being Skarm's access to instant recovery, and it's immunity to Ground allowing it to check Grounds that can boost through Ferrothorn's...
Let's not forget one little detail about Kartana: it's bulk. It can switch into or take hits from Ground-types, Rillaboom, Non-Close Combat Zeraora, and even something as strong as Life Orb-boosted Crawdawnt (Knock Off is barely a 2HKO with rocks, and Synthesis allows Kart to keep itself...
