Not that I necessarily agree with the sentiment, but if Spikes are so overwhelmingly useful as to be harmful to the metagame, is merely banning the top Spikers (Roserade, Froslass, Deoxys-D) really enough to solve the problem? I mean, we're incapable of banning Spikes outright, so presumably...

Sure, you could do that as well. Either ban would solve the problem of Snow Cloak, it's just a question of who gets soft-banned, Froslass or Abamasnow, and I'd rather have Froslass. Also blah blah Blizzspam, etc.

Really confusing decision. Even if the old "Using Snover means starting down 6-5" logic was valid, the whole problem with Snow Cloak is that the abusers can bullshit wins out even if they're down 6-1. Really ought to look at Snow Warning, not Abamasnow.

Devil's advocate here, but there's also the option of banning Abomasnow/Snow Warning, instead of Snow Cloak. Banning Snow Cloak results in a soft ban on Froslass and lol Beartic, and depriving Glaceon of egg moves (I think?). Mamoswine doesn't give a shit, obviously. Banning Snow Warning just...

I dunno. When you've got a Pokemon like Mamoswine who, in addition to having basically no safe switch-ins, also has at least a 1 in 5 shot of beating it's checks as well, I'd be inclined to say that my problem is, indeed, Snow Cloak.
