  1. Excadrill (Analysis)

I have a counter to consider: Porygon2 @ Evo Stone Trace Bold 252 HP 252 Def 4 Sp. Def Recover Thunderbolt Ice Beam Hidden Power Water/Hidden Power Fire This guy switches into Doryuuzu and recieves only 115 max damage from Doryuuzu. With Hidden Power Water, he returns a minimum damage of 150...
  2. Bye bye Latias! Bring in the apes...

Lucario is one of those pokemon that has always been better on paper than in practicality. Sure, on paper, he's got great typing, a solid movepool, and agility or swords dance. But what exactly in the metagame is he going to be setting up on? With EQ and *insert a fire move here* being so...
  3. Salamence Theorymonning

The problem with that argument is the rabbit trail we go on when you say that since a majority of teams can not counter it, we should ban it? Should we ban anything a majority of teams can not counter? Of course not. Salamence's broken or not broken state hinges entire on the question of whether...
  4. Salamence Theorymonning

I agree with the above post. Salamence is predictable. It takes exactly one switch (to Scizor, and since most people are using Scizor anyway, it's not a big deal) to determine how to kill Salamence. You do realize that Scizor's Banded BP + Rocks + LO damage = Salamence is dead. If the Mence is...
  5. Monoteams

I'd have to say Ice is the easiest thing to mono. Since you can permahail, you get a field advantage right away, and unlike Sandstorm + Rock, your best "weathered" pokemon are in your type - Sandstorm screams for Steels and Grounds to be used on your team. Hail doesn't have that problem. Plus...
  6. Bye bye Latias! Bring in the apes...

I like this change. While I disagree that Latias was "uncounterable", when threads like this occur and people respond with "Crap, there go 66% of my teams", something is wrong. No Pokemon should be that good that you want to use it on 2 out of 3 teams you build. What makes Latias so dangerous is...
  7. Walking On Sunshine

I'm not going to lie, you have a massive Heatran weakness. Your counters are both grass types, and Scarf ones ripp you through if you don't predict right. I'd switch Cress for Blissey. You desparetely need a special wall for Heatran. Maybe try Thunder Wave, Wish, Protect, Seismic Toss on her.
  8. Cut from Cookies: Or is it?

Bump. I tested an Expert Belt on Gengar today. Worked well. Pwned up some unsuspecting Lucarios.
  9. Cut from Cookies: Or is it?

Gengar: I gotz bored? Solid point on Leftovers. The recover hasn't been work it. I didn't think to put that down in my summary. Scizor: BugBite's coverage against Psychic/Dark is great, not to mention it gets Technician boosted. Oh, yeah, and the lolz when I eat berries are great stuff...
  10. Cut from Cookies: Or is it?

It was a cold day. A boy lay with his head on the desk, a ruined computer in front of him. It's blue screen of death mocked his presence. After a hefty Thief from the bank, a new computer soon arrived on this tragic scene, but it could not save the harddrive. Years (ok, fine, weeks) of battling...
  11. D/P (only) Working on a Hail team... Need help here.

Add a Mamoswine. Ice Shard, EQ, Steon Edge, SR. Drop, umm, Mismagius. No synergy from her.
  12. Revenge: My Turn. RMT?

I really like that set for Porygon, but the one I have now has been marvelous, so I'm not going to mess with it. Thanks though. Skarm: Yeah, I know, I have been having that issue. It was solved easily though. If I recognize a Taunter (usually D-e), I switch in Porygon, and precede to Dark...
  13. Revenge: My Turn. RMT?

Welcome to my first serious attempt at a team that will win. It's been less than stellar thus far. I haven't been keeping track, but it's about .500 so far. I think it has potential and I'm simply a poor predictor. What do you think? Leading off: Skarmory Nature: Impish EVs: 252 HP, 6 Atk...
