  1. How many countries can you name?

Probably because Greenland belongs to Denmark.
  2. Infernape [4P]*

    Edited, thanks DJX09.
  3. How many countries can you name?

    132. Missed pretty much all of western Africa and half the Caribbeans. Eastern Europe and Central Asia screwed me over as well...
  4. Tekken 6

Just start off playing arcade mode against the comp first. Law is one of the easier characters to start with, but I'd also recommend Jin. He has a nice mix of punches and kicks that aren't too hard to pull off and are flexible enough for juggling, so he's really good for getting the basics...
  5. CAP 9 CAP 9 - Part 16 - Sprite Poll 2

Hmm, tough decision... KoA's pose is amazing, but it looks a bit too slim... Cartoons!'s looks a bit too glum, and the eyes and mouth on the backsprite are a bit too small for my liking... So, going with aragornbird for the outstanding backsprite and shiny palette.
  6. How did any of you arrive at your conclusion?

Every system, secular or religious, is at liberty to condemn what they don't agree with. There is nothing special about religion that gives it a stronger right to condemn others. Whether a system requires force depends simply on whether one is imposing it on others or not, rather than its...
  7. How did any of you arrive at your conclusion?

That's a curious juxtaposition of principles. If the distinction for appropriateness of persuasion is between fact and opinion, why the need for the strict "do not displease them" principle? I agree with you when you refer to the need to "be reasonable", but I think it's too restricting to...
  8. How did any of you arrive at your conclusion?

Any external set of principles can be used to judge a particular ethical system, and any secular system that doesn't share the same values will condemn them. Most principles, religious or not, are inherently flexible. Besides, principles that isn't flexible isn't easily adaptable to new...
  9. How did any of you arrive at your conclusion?

That is a very wide proposition to make. What you are describing covers not just coercion and indoctrination, but also education and persuasion. Hell, even raising a child to to become an upright, responsible citizen is "attempting to influence someone else's life". While indoctrination and...
  10. CAP 9 CAP 9 - Name Submissions

Let's just keep it simple and cll it Earthhorn (earth + horn). After all, its distinguishing feature is the giant horn sticking out of the ground. Also, what about Gardrill (garchomp + drill)? Being a land narwhal it's obviously a distant cousin of the land shark.
  11. CAP 9 CAP 9 - Part 11 - Counters Discussion

Wait, really? [/LIST] The second category is the only category that Intimidate might fall into, but it's not a "move", it's an ability...
  12. Infernape [4P]*

Thanks, Roflmao23. Changes editted in (with the exception of "bulky waters"), and Counters section updated.
  13. CAP 9 CAP 9 - Part 10 - Art Poll 1

  14. Infernape [4P]*

This is a concise version of the Team Options and Counters sections: ------------------------------ TEAM OPTIONS <p>Stealth Rock is very useful to combat the Flying-types that love switching into Infernape, as well as netting some important KOs; for instance, Nasty Plot Grass Knot now has a...
  15. CAP 9 CAP 9 - Part 9a - Secondary Ability Discussion

Wait, wasn't the intention to stop secondary moves, including Trick? IIRC, that was the reasoning behind choosing Dark type, as well as the physical bias. I really don't see how CAP9 is "stopping" Trick when it's abusing it itself. And all that's going to tell us is how powerful Trick is...
