But that still would not make a lot of sense since I selected a different move (calm mind), yet I didnt select bloodmoon again so I could use the move, but the turn after I could only use struggle even though I technically selected calm mind.

When doing a randombattle in gen 9, I was using ursaluna and I used bloodmoon on illumise. The move after, they used encore, and somehow I was able to use bloodmoon twice in a row. The next turn I could only use struggle. This is the replay...
