Is darmanitan (because zen mode) legal? Serebii says no but showdown says yes. I can't find the eligible pokemon in the official regulations.

I've been delaying building a team because there are so many mons allowed, but enough banned so that normal battle spot doubles meta doesn't fit.

I'm playing around with a defensive/toxic stall umbreon. Just be sure to have foul play.

I trying to only use Johto mons for fun. After quick testing, my main 3 are band crobat, scizor, and ff scarf houndoom.

I use choice band haxorus because he's won me more match-ups including versus dragonite.

Does anyone have counters for avalugg/sawk? All I have now is skill swap starmie, who loses to like everyone else.

Definitely using choice scarf darmanitan and choice band dragonite because of how fun they are. Still testing like 15 other mons for the remaining slots.

Abomasnow learns sheer cold and role play. But this strat takes 2 pokemon and 1 turn so that 1 bad pokemon can do single target KO's. Not that scary to me. I hate dealing with trick room/tailwind more.

I'm working on 2 strats right now. 1 is 2 tailwind supports with 2 strong attackers. The other is fake out/sky drop space making for set up sweepers. Any idea when this will be on showdown? I'm building teams without checks in mind for the banned common pokemon, and want to test them as such.

Is there a difference between the battle spot doubles and vgc 2015 formats?
