If you want a steel type in place of metagross, you've got scizor excadrill and ferro as your main options. Ferrothorn is very defensive though so I don't know if I'd recommend that for this team. Banded Scizor would make a good offensive threat and the rain would dampen its major fire weakness...

I'm not really the biggest fan of ferrothorn, but it would work well with heatran and Slowbro. The only issue here is its another fighting weakness, and I already have heatran, excadrill, and t-tar as fighting weaknesses with only Slowbro and maaaaaybe gardevoir to cover.
