  1. Bronzong vs Cresselia

Cresselia is really easy to set up on. If you use it, I'd have a secondary wall that can Roar. Bronzong always has the ability to be a nuisance, but as a lead it's way too vulnerable to being Taunted.
  2. Post new creative movesets/EV spreads here:

This isn't creative at all, but I've been using it on Shoddy for a while now and I think it's a very good option: Gallade @ Choice Scarf Jolly - 252 Attack, 236 Speed, 22 HP - Close Combat - Psycho Cut - Night Slash / X-Scissor - Stone Edge / Leaf Blade / Earthquake Outspeeds Choice Scarf...
  3. 32 turns of stall in the Hail: Walrein

These teams are common enough on shoddy now that anyone leading with abomasnow is pretty much predictable. Once you know what to expect, it's not difficult to prevent the setup, and ice is such a lousy typing that they're at a big disadvantage in an even battle. Walrein is worthy of BL because...
  4. Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer mark 6 (read 1st post)

I'm currently breeding Tyrogues, and I'm wondering about how their abilities change when they evolve. Will a Guts Tyrogue always become an Iron Fist Hitmonchan, for example, or is it random? Is there a list or FAQ somewhere that explains ability changes from evolution like this?
  5. Excuse me, but I would like to post a new Scizor set

Lucario has the weakness to very common ground and fighting attacks, as well as poorer defensive stats, which make it more difficult to set up your swords dances. He's great too, but I don't think he's a replacement for this guy.
  6. 32 turns of stall in the Hail: Walrein

Ok, so Weavile (or mamoswine, or frosslass) comes in as you get your sub out. He brick breaks and your sub is gone. You spend that turn roaring, and now something else comes in and you have no sub. If you're lucky, you take a hit and get a sub up again. Weavile comes in again easily enough...
  7. Excuse me, but I would like to post a new Scizor set

I've been using something similar on shoddybattle (and have a good candidate for the set in my trade thread.) In my experience, it's worth dropping those defense EVs for a good 100-150 in speed to outrun walls and slower pokemon, especially with iron head flinching capabilities. And I have to...
  8. 32 turns of stall in the Hail: Walrein

This sounds funny and all but it seems that with a single ice-type on the other team it's rendered pretty much useless.
  9. Hitmonlee... more powerful reversals or no?

IIRC Hitmonlee's new ability increases the enemy's recoil damage when they use a move like double edge. Making it pretty much the most useless ability in existence.
  10. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer mark 5

Friend of mine with Pearl. I've tried this a few more times to make sure it's not a fluke and it keeps happening.
  11. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer mark 5

I tried to evolve my No Guard Machoke using the GTS, only to find that it now has the Guts ability and has lost its nickname and become plain MACHAMP. All other stats and details remained the same. Fortunately, I had a backup clone. What's going on here? I'm not the original trainer, if that...
  12. Vigilante vs. CaptainKishimoto (Warstory)

Kabutops is underrated, probably the best swift swim user. When he gets in under the right conditions he can just wreck a team. Sandstorm teams do screw with it, though.
  13. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer mark 5

Think my question got lost in the shuffle before: Does encore work through substitutes?
  14. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer mark 5

Infernape and Extremespeed Arcanine. Does Encore work through substitutes?
  15. Alert: Use Brick Break on Medicham. *Info inside*

Of course he won't survive an explosion. More likely, someone switches in a Ninjask in the late game to die on stealth rock and take the medicham down with it. HJK is still much better. It's just got downsides you need to be aware of.
