Luckily most of the trainers in Pokemon games are easily to beat, even for Pokemon with sub-optimal (in-game) movesets. In the same save file where I had that Infernape, I had a Luxray with Spark, Thunder Fang, Thunder and Discharge.

I was just a young kid and not quite as knowledgeable about the type chart, and poor at planning movepools.

In Pearl I got messed up by Fantina when my overleveled Infernape only know Normal and Fighting type moves. Thanks HMs.

Weird. I was previously told it was perfect accuracy. I guess I'm just lucky I haven't missed it yet; I've been using it for quite a while.

In my playtrough of Alpha Sapphire, I vowed to catch all of the legendaries in standard Pokeballs. The only one I couldn't catch was, oddly enough, Kyogre, because I ran out of Pokeballs.

My first level 100 was my Swampert in Emerald. The reason it got to level 100 is a simple one; it just didn't leave my party. This was probably because young me decided that the ideal moveset consisted of 4 HMS: Surf, Waterfall, Dive and Strength.
