I don't think anyone has ever had a glitch with their Battle Box before. That was the cause of my problem

I was told by someone that I can't choose them for a partner in multi battle. Is this really true? If so then I'm skipping Battle Maison

I've run into a problem with Battle Maison in Pokémon AS. I'm not able to choose an AI (Your rival, Wally, Archie/Maxie, Steven) for a partner in multi battle. They do show up but I get a message saying they're not eligible to choose. What should I do? If this is the wrong place to ask this you...

Yes. They're all there but a message down at the bottom of the selection screen shows none are eligible
