Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
EDIT: I decided to switch Claydol for Cresselia, as in my edited post. Just an FYI, because no one mentioned it before.
Is there anyone else with comments?
Hmm, I actually was considering a LO Gyarados, but my friend suggested the bulky version. Maybe with some other people's choices of Gyara will I then make my decision.
So now it comes down to what I should have, LO Gyara or Bulky?
Thanks for the help, LR & wildfire. I'll change my team around with some of the stuff you guys recommended. Not everything, but the things I thought were good.
I still think Claydol is a good stopper of Cresselia and Zapdos, as Machamp / Electivire can't handle the former while if I replace...
RMT: From 'Vire to 'Cress to 'Gyara (OU)
First off, if anyone gets the baseball reference in my title (AKA the famous double-play combo), you deserve a cookie. If not, NO COOKIE FOR YOU.
Here's this new OU Team I made, having 5 OU and 1 UU:
FYI: I did know about the whole BL-into-UU...
Infernape: Scarfgross sounds cool, but Jumpluff and Exeggutor are both weak to Fire already, and I really don't want to have half of my team weak to a move that gets its power boosted by MY weather.
Charizard: *sigh*....Stealth Rock is so freaking annoying if you have a 4X weak poke to it on...
The one thing I see is that half of your team has Life Orb, and you lack both a Rapid Spinner and a Wish-passer. I understand that this team can seriously rape pokes, but if your opponent is able to get down Stealth Rock and even a few layers of Spikes, that damage plus the LO recoil of half of...
For the record, when you see the abbreviation 'SpD', it stands for Special Defense, not Speed. 'Spd' is speed; special defense has a capital D in it.
He was referring to putting those EV's into your special defense already.
I'll be honest and say that I don't play that much UU, but if I had to throw in my two cents here, I'd switch your Manectric's strategy to the Life Orb set w/ Crunch. I really doubt Grumpig and Hypno would stay in to Drapion, but this'll totally catch them off guard.
With Stealth Rock...
You know what. I forgot about those two moves. Consider them both on Heatran. Since Solarbeam is now on Heatran, I think I'll give Exeggutor Grass Knot.
Yeah, like OMG a Sunny Day team in THIS day and age? Go figure. I decided to change things up a bit and make a team like this.
At first glance....
...yeah at the sight of a JUMPLUFF you'd think this team is sub-par, but I think it's pretty good. The only thing bad I'm noticing is lack of...
