Okay, I swear to god my game must be busted. I mean, I've hatched so many eggs that I've literally lost count so maybe after I get a Shiny Froakie, if at all, I'll come back and count them again. But just looking at the Mass Dumper TSVs, I still haven't gotten a single Shiny unless the Shiny Egg...

So, does the Masuda method give a higher chance for the egg to have the same Shiny Value as yours? Or does the TSV not really matter much? Also, what if the number is close to your TSV?

Question about changing parents. Does it matter which parent is changed or can it be another local/your own Pokemon?

I just hatched 900 Froakies with a Japanese Female Froakie and my own Ditto. None of them were shiny. I have to wonder if I'm doing something wrong :l I'm going to try switching my Ditto for a Male English Froakie, but I doubt I'll get anything. Also: Hi, new user
