Thank you everyone for the kind comments! Here's two pictures from the poke_art community on livejournal's monthly art trade. The first one I'm pretty proud of because it's not often I still like something I drew a month or so later. The second is some paring from the shaymin movie? I don't know...

Just a page of rough idea scribbling, nothing I really like here. This CAP is really hard, IMO, partly because steel is so strong and ghost is so floaty, plus 'scout' is a hard concept to illustrate clearly. The knight guy was inspired by all the other knight guys, I just wanted to be cool okay...

Year 8 geology, you've let me down for the last time! But yeah, that's what I meant. A fire/grass pokemon is going to have difficulty being really plausible anyway.

I figured that being a lava flow, it would actually be able to move pretty fast. Those things can outspeed a motorbike.

This guy is my first attempt, I realised after I'd done it that having no arms or legs might be a problem, but designing a fire/grass pokemon that doesn't look suicidal is harder than I thought.
