  1. And Now for something completely the same

Well now remember than kecleon resists water once he's taken a hit from it. But yeah I have been considering sticking rocks on Kecleon and letting hippowdon roar.
  2. And Now for something completely the same

Threat lists incoming. Offensive Threats Aerodactyl - Urgh. Fake out the sash then starmie can spin and scald him out of the game. Archeops - Really? Same as Aero, just easier. Azelf - Fake Out/ U-Turn hurts and so does shadow sneak/bug buzz. Bisharp - Hippowdon. Breloom - Mienshao...
  3. And Now for something completely the same

Ok so I've finally built an OU team I feel is worth sharing. Any by 'sharing' I mean 'please help me make it suck less'. I had modest success with it on PO while the server was down but smogon has reminded me why I play there. So without further ado: Team Building I picked my lead first, on...
  4. SandStorm for Snobs

If you're going to run calm mind and bulk up it's probably worth spending EVs on the defensive stat you're not boosting. That way you can stay in on both types of attackers for longer, which is what you really should be shooting for with a boosting tank.
  5. My first B/W team

    Yeah, razor shell, my bad.
  6. My first B/W team

Normally I love Umbreon as a special wall, but in this case it would give you 3 fighting weaknesses. Maybe try Togekiss instead? He's my favourite special wall at the moment, and I use the following build to great effect; Togekiss@Leftovers Serene Grace Calm Nature 252 HP/ 252 SpD/ 4 Def...
  7. Building my first team.

With Compound Eyes Thunder is much more accurate and should probably always be used over t bolt on galvantula.
  8. My first B/W team

You don't have a Special wall, and therefore any special sweeper will cause you an insane amount of problems. Consider making Jirachi your special wall, or switch one of your 3 special attackers for a Special wall. I would say you don't need both alakazam and rotom on the same team, since they...
  9. The Armory (BW OU RMT)

Have you tried taunt instead of Stone Edge on Meinshao? Since you don't have a spinner but you do have a choiced chandelure, stopping rocks should be a priority. I know you lose a bit of coverage but Stealth Rocks could really hurt your team, chopping 25% off chandelure every time it switches (a...
  10. Jones's Fifth Gen Offense

Slowbro is actually awesome, however I find a calm mind set is incredibly effective, especially in OU. Also while sludgebomb hits slightly harder then shadowball it provides barely any coverage. I would replace it with Thunderbolt, which is a godsend to Gengar. And to echo what others are...
  11. Team Hitmontop!

If you're using priority abuse hitmontop dump the speed EVs. You don't need them. I would dump them all into HP. In fact, I'd max HP so that you get a defensive boost from both ends of the spectrum. I use the same Hitmontop on my team with great success, with a 252 Atk/ 252 HP/ 4 SpD spread and...
  12. Quagsire

I run Earthquake, Toxic, Encore and Recover and that does me fine to be honest. I don't rate boil over because Quaggy loves taking physical hits and doesn't need help doing so, and to be honest his SpA is so pitiful that you'll end up burning something you'll wish you'd toxiced and that'll the...
  13. Quagsire

I've been using Quagsire as my physical wall since gen4, and with unaware it's just incredible. It counters every single physical attacker without a grass attack, and his synergy with Togekiss is amazing. He counters ANY swords dancer and ANY dragon dancer post setup. he's probably the best...
  14. Quagsire

I use Quagsire a lot, and I can't see myself taking unaware over water absorb. Water absorb allows him to take down bulky waters who would probably dominate him with stab surf. It'll be nice to be able to switch into swords dance scizor or heracross, but at the moment he's an awesome gyarados...
  15. Mandibuzz

Didn't see this posted yet: Barujina@ leftovers Dustproof Impish/Bold 252HP/252 Def/ 4 SpD (open to tweeking) -Mean Look -Toxic -Roost -Taunt/Bone Rush/Knock Off/U Turn/Whirlwind So the plan is to trap an opponent and then let toxic take care of them while roosting off their damage. The last...
