    Once again, people in this thread seem to forget about the amazing slowness of wifi battles. I'd say most of the time we are talking at least an hour for one freaking game. Not to mention you can only play against people in your friends list. And the PBS rocked, thanks for making it dude...

    Seeing as how the game is a lot more fun when I win than win I lose, I try to win. That means I pick the best pokemon I can. I come from the competitive fighting game scene, where tiers are an accepted fact of life. As a competitive gamer, my goal is to win.

    I will probably only use wifi for tournaments. Competitor will A. Make it easier to test new ideas out. and more importantly B. Speed up the ridiculously slow wifi battles. (way to drop the ball on that one nintendo.)

    If I breed a rock head rhyhorn in emerald will it definately turn into a solid rock one in diamond? Also, can you roar or whirlwind away a pokemon that has a substitute out?

    now if you could turn off the animations and speed the battles up, I would gladly pay for it. Lets be honest, the battles on wifi are fricking ridiculously long. If both players have animations turned off then why oh why does it make you watch them?
