Yeah I managed to take care of her in a similar fashion. My Persian has Dig, so I got rid of her Magnimite's. I screeched her Steelix 2 times and then my Furret rock smashed it, so its defense went to -6. After furret fainted i revived Persian and used Dig two times and that was it.

Rock Smash with a Few X Attacks will get the job done. I'll teach dig once I can get rid of Rock Smash though to my Furret.

I managed to get past my Rival at Azalea Town by using Foresight & Quick Attack with Furret. Since I'm not picking up the Raticate I was lucky that I never got rid of Foresight from the start.

I think the Togekiss will be enough, the Porygon-Z doesn't feel too necessary (although it really is an amazing Pokemon). I just think a full normal type team has too many fragile Pokemon and the Togekiss can partially make up for that.
