I keep reading in various places that gen VI has introduced new sleep mechanics... Has it? What are they? If the talk of new sleep mechanics is still overspill from last gen - what are people talking about it still for? e.g. What battle techniques are there using these new mechanics etc?

For example, +2 Garchomp has only a 1% to 2HKO with Dragon Claw if Gourgeist 1%? Or ten percent? 1% seems awfully low for a pokemon such as Garchomp. I'm also confused as to why you've used a dragon clawing Garchomp in an example you were using to back up your argument about Gourgeist being...

Why insomnia? The only sleep inducing moves I can think of that are used regularly are Spore and Sleep Powder. Neither of which affect grass types anymore - running sets with frisk is much better IMO as it allows for 'frisking' of items to see what each 'mon is playing you for

I'm in love with Gourgeist <3 I've been breeding some super-sized Pumpkaboos with 31IVs in Attack... Trick room set the best to go for? Or something like, Seed Bomb, Phantom Force, WoW and Leech Seed?

I've been able to breed a number of adamant, Pumpkaboo with 31 IVs in attack. No idea how to find out the other IVs. If anyone wants to trade, then let me know!

Still looking for baby, adamant, super size Pumpkaboos I could borrow, with which to breed with. I've got a variety of super size Pumpkaboo I can trade - no idea about the IV/EV spread - got a few good natures. These would be perfect for breeding moves and then utilising the better IV/EV...

Is anyone breeding Phantump? Looking for a nature that boosts attack and doesn't lower speed... Not too fussed on amazing IVs. Don't have much to offer, thus the requirement of a non-perfect Phantump!

Hey, I'm looking for a baby Phantump with Harvest please? Not too bothered about EVs and IVs as I don't have anything special to trade with... As long as it's an increase in attack/ decrease in special attack I don't mind :)

Is this a thread to just ask questions in? If so, I'm wanting to catch a Trevenant with Harvest from a horde battle. The issue arises when it tells me that four of them have Frisk, which leaves one with harvest... How do I know which one? Does it come up in a particular order which Trevenant...
