Does the anime give a bad reputation to Pokemon?

Of course they are. Nobody said any different.

All 718 (+3) Pokémon, set to the tune of the Modern Major-General's Song

This suprisingly, superbly, supremely sublime. It's supereffective! Well done good sir and bravo!

Does the anime give a bad reputation to Pokemon?

You might be surprised by by the number of adults that play Pokemon. Adults out of college - out of grad school even. Adults with careers and spouses and children. You might be even more surprised to that find that features such as PokeAmie are quite popular with the adult demographic (both...

    Pokémon The Best Fairy Pokemon?

I find Granbull to be consistently underrated and takes a lot of people by surprise. While it's not the best Fairy ever, its unique traits make it worth consideration. Thanks to Intimidate it is significantly physically bulky when EVd for Defense. And unlike the other Intimidating Fairy it is...

    Pokémon Gardevoir

Note that 1 Pixilate Hyper Beam is in fact stronger than 2 Moonblasts. Not that I'm advocating using Hyper Beam, except perhaps in 3v3 and the like. Also keep in mind Hyper Beam's 90% accuracy could come back to bite you.

+3 Critical rate gives you 100% Critical Hit chance this generation.

    Pokémon Rotom-H

This thing pairs delightfully well most Dragon types - resisting the Ice and Fairy moves that threaten them, and Dragons resisting Water moves that threaten little Mr. Toaster. It absorbs the Paralysis and Burn moves that are often used to shut down its poor Dragon buddies. Friends Dragalge and...

Now I wonder if Overcoat is unaffected by Effect Spore as well?

    Data Base Stat Changes

We can assume, I think. But you never know. They followed a perfect pattern with the Megas all gaining 100 BST over the base forms except Alakazam only gaining 90, which may have been an error on their part or maybe we have the stats wrong - who knows. It never hurts to be 100% certain...

    Battle Mechanics Research

You can trick it away, but if you are faster than the target it doesn't stop the target from using a status move until the next turn.

    Pokémon Whimsicott

Really! That is news. I suppose Sunny Day is the same way now? Is there a link to the discovery? Anyway rain dance is a really nice addition as it synergies with it's typing and moves much better. That and the new Fairy typing means Whimsicott has a lot more usefulness.

    Item Assault Vest

You can't trick Assault Vest away as Trick is a status move and can't be used while wielding AV (but other 'mons can of course trick it from you). Just think of Assault Vest as inflicting permanent, unavoidable taunt on the wielder.

    Other Defensive Fire-typing

Fire is actually a really nice defensive typing on the Special side, it just falls apart completely on the physical side. That and most Fire types have a strong offensive bias in thier stats and movepools. But I agree Fire is a much improved defensive typing this gen. The Will-o-Wisp buff...

    Other Good Cores

Weezing and specially defensive Tyranitar are an interesting defensive pairing. Weezing resists the Fighting, Fairy, Bug and Ground moves that threaten Tyranitar, and Weezing's one weakness to Psychic is covered by Tyranitar's Dark typing. Furthermore, the accuracy boost to Will-O-Wisp means...
