Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Trailblaze getting a wide distribution should be appreciated. The countless struggles against bulky Water and/or Ground types have a decent answer for some mons that desperately needed Grass coverage. Sure, 50 base power is nothing to write home about, but +1 Speed is nice, it can have Grassy...
In my opinion, it's heavily overestimated.
With Gyarados, most of the time Electric-types were just the only worry, since Gyarados can easily punish most of the Rock-types with ease after one DD. Plenty of coverage options as well to break through stuff that could somewhat check it. One DD and...
Hail's effect should have been this from the get go.
Anyways, this could be the Ice-type TM from Grusha. Which would be basically a Defense boost. Meaning if my theory is correct, all that's left is Defense decrease, Special Attack decrease, Special Defense increase, and Special Defense...
So...
Trailblaze increases user Speed by 1.
Pounce decreases opponent Speed by 1.
Chilling Water decreases opponent Attack by 1.
I feel like this will be the trend for the Gym Leader TMs.
Do we know if Scovillain only gets Chlorophyll? It's not bad, but I would have hoped for defensive immunities, Flash Fire and/or Water Absorb. The former is possibly unlikely since Armarouge and Ceruledge already gets it, but the latter would be nice for a "fire plant".
The pseudo looks atrocious. The most palatable is probably its 2nd stage. Better compensate with an optimal, offensive stat distribution for its typing.
Unaware certainly grants plenty of niches for it. Movepool confirmation aside, on paper it shits on all of the Volcaronas.
If you want the big, middle finger core, run it together with Quagsire and Clefable.
Sprigatito's 2nd stage looks way better than the 3rd one.
Quaxly's evolutions need better pictures for better judgement, though I don't like the direction of the design.
Fuecoco's line wins for me, even though the leaks gave me the impression of a chubby crocodile happening. That thing doesn't...
Only the HP is the same, but it had to be the same. Kyurem has the luxury of 660BST, so it has way better Speed and threatening offensive stats to boot.
The Ice/Dragon pseudo on the other hand is tailored for obvious defensive roles rather than for Pressure stalling. In that regard, it's bulkier...
Skimmed through the thread yesterday. The discussion, doomposting about the Ice/Dragon pseudo-legendary following a specialization pattern, thus having the biggest HP was amusing enough for me to roll with it just for fun. I will explain in details.
HP: 125
Attack: 98
Defense: 115
Special...
