Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Ive been rocking this thing with Exca and using smooth rock but is it better to just use his mega instead? I mean he feels like dead weight kinda using Smooth Rock
Calm mind Espeon seems to be the best variant of this thing at the moment especially with defog destroying your screens.
Send the boosts to Mega luke or greninja and see what happens to the opponents team.
Swap Salamence for weakness policy Dragonite. With screens up you can still come in on rocks with multiscale broken and set up to sweep.
Dragonite isn't walled by fairy types as much either if you carry extreme speed.
Dragonite @ Weakness policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Att / 252...
I had no clue the ladder was going to be reset after making this team so I have to climb the ladder again but I peaked in the 2000's with this team and I'm currently laddering again after the reset.
Anyways onto the team.
I initially wanted to make a fire water grass core with volt turn...
I like gimmicks set as well it's well thought out.
I've been using this guy as my lead and then volt switching into either espeon or another counter.
Talon flame and him make a decent volt-turn core as well.
Only problem using him as lead is he doesn't outspeed Galvantula but in this case I just...

I've been having quite some success using mega garchomp for cleaning up after talonflame uses suicide tailwind.
Jolteon with elec gem to scout + covet to take an enemies item...
Jolteon makes a good lead with espeon magic bounce backing it up. If the lead if galvantula then you voltswitch for 35% and finish it off with espeon after reflecting sticky web.
Obviously this can fail but it works more often than not
I've been running Garchomp and Jolteon with this thing and it seems to work out pretty well I'm liking the tailwind combo with mega blastoise though I'll try it out eventually
I've been running TFlame with
Adamant Nature 252att/speed
Acrobatics w/ flying gem
Flare Blitz
Sword dance
Tailwind
This thing is probably my fav thing this whole gen because I usually bring it in after setting up screens with espeon. Make sure spikes/rocks are down and this thing just dents...
Frogadiers design has touched me. I saw the stats and the base speed looks higher which is pretty much what I wanted from one of the starters.
Has anyone figured out the base stats for it yet?
