Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Thanks a ton for the rate! It definitely helps. I've already decided to replace Salamence with DD Dragonite. I just haven't been home to make the changes to the OP yet. Haven't decided on Lum berry vs Weakness Policy yet though. The latter seems better more often in testing.
The blobs are a big...
I agree, but I don't see there being any room for that. Alakazam is needed in several instances where Azumarill wouldn't cut it, and the sun weakens its secondary stab.
First of all, thanks for the rate! I really appreciate it. I've thought about running Dragonite over Mence again. I had him on the team before putting in mence, but that was also before the team got pretty much completely rebuilt. What I disliked was getting outsped by >80-100 scarfers lategame...
Without a special attack-boosting nature (you'd want modest) and with an imperfect Special attack stat so far off from 31, you'd likely often miss out on crucial OHKOs/2-hit KOs, so this probably would not be a good idea, sorry :\
I feel that if genesect is banned this gen it will be because of its versatility. If there's been no clear-cut indication of what set its running until mid-game you could lose by simply assuming it was choiced. Now that I typed it out it sounds a bit silly since it'd be pretty easy to find out...
Welcome to my 6th gen Pokebank OU RMT! I haven't really played competitively since 4th Gen/ the days of shoddy so here's my first relatively successful team. Any and all suggestions/ comments/ critiques are welcome so fire away!

What are some good additions to a team core of Dragonite, Magnezone and Mega Charizard Y? Take notice that my magnezone is a sub attacker modest set with enough speed evs to outspeed 0 investment rotom-a and thus does not have volt switch (but I could change that). I've tried adding both...
Still nothing on Magnezone?
I think Magnezone fits this description well. It doesn't have the speed or priority to be an A - ranked offensive sweeper, but it chunks opponents, destroys steel and fairy types and can get free turns often enough (sub/ volt switch poking). Also has excellent...
If tyranitar isn't common I don't know what game I've been playing for the past 5 years. Talonflame is pretty common. Any grass resist is.
That said I think M-houndoom's good speed and insanely strong attacks with decent coverage before and after nasty plot merit a B to B- rank (B- because of...
Why is this shitty houndoom business even a debate? If sunny day gets screwed over one time out of ten while nasty plot doesnt while they both have near identical damage/ coverage why the hell would you choose to run the sunny day set? If you want your shitty solar power gimmick run heat rock...
Haven't seen much talk about Magnezone. Flash cannon tears through fairies and its steel typing lets it switch in on them with relative ease as well. It doesn't sweep teams on its own, but being able to remove new threats to dragon types is a great quality and both a specs or substitute set...
Those sound like great changes. I'll definitely try them out. The only issue I have I losing my volt-turn combination but gengar gets perfect coverage anyway so that shouldn't be a huge deal. Thanks!
EDIT: Updated the OP with team modifications. Team is much more consistent now. Thanks, Plus!
