Why not use Galvantula instead of Silcoon if you want to decrease speed? It's a lot faster and sticky web is more reliable than string shot because you can just switch out of string shot.

It can't out speed Talonflame no matter how much speed it has lol. No one is keeping Tornadus in vs a Manectric either, that's basically suicide. Weavile is a problem. So you can decrease your power for one pokemon that I rarely see I guess lol.

Ice works the same as flying on Venusaur. In ou I really don't see many grass types that would tell me that flying is a better solution. The most I usually see is a Venusaur every once in awhile and Sceptile rarely.
