  1. Gen 6 The "Are my Pokémon IVs and Nature good?" Thread

Well, I don't know how the RNG works... I was thinking that maybe there might be IV's that are common based on what the initial seed is, but the numbers are supposed to seem random, and I guess I was really only seeing certain numbers reappear more than I expected, so "pattern" may not be quite...
  2. Gen 6 The "Are my Pokémon IVs and Nature good?" Thread

I've been trying to get a flawless Yvetal and I've recorded the approximate IV's. I feel like there might be a pattern because I see numbers reappearing frequently. The 8/9 pair actually showed up nine times in my 15 recorded soft resets, and four of those instances were in the same stats, in...
  3. XY RNG Research

Yeah, I'm not trying to be unreasonable or anything like that, so I'll just have to wait for the RNG reporter. I hope people don't mind that I've been asking questions though...
  4. XY RNG Research

Yeah, I already knew that stationary Pokémon have 3 perfect IV's, but I didn't realize that Celebi was guaranteed 3 perfect IV's. I have a synchronizer too... You might think that IV's above would be good enough, but I must obsessively accept nothing less than perfect IV's... Yes, I'm a bit...
  5. XY RNG Research

Oh well... I guess RNG abuse is off the table for now then, but are there any plans though? There is that Celebi event that I can't soft-reset for, so I can make do for now, but, while I don't want to be a pest, it would be nice to know...
  6. XY RNG Research

So... is my idea viable, or is it possible to find the seed after starting and manipulating it from there? Is there any feasible method for RNG abuse? I wasn't my flawless Yveltal, although... if anyone has one I might be will to trade it for an event Pokémon, or flawless ditto, or a flawless...
  7. XY RNG Research

Please tell me someone is working on RNG abuse. I STILL haven't beaten the game because I want a flawless Yveltal. So... the breeding seed is static? Does that mean that there is no real way to manipulate breeding through RNG abuse? As far as normal RNG abuse goes, could we predict later seeds...
  8. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

Well, by our world's standards he would be evil, but if the world's moral laws are different... Although you are comparing the moral laws of two different worlds, so there could be a problem there. I'll admit this is hard for me to argue against, because of our world's laws, but I have wondered...
  9. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

Fair enough, but is your "self" necessarily static? I imagine you change to a certain extent and that this wasn't always a part of you... Also, is it really such an integral part of your identity? I imagine it to be a big part, but if you changed that one part would you really be a different...
  10. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

Well, if God exists, then He defined the moral laws, so He's basically right by definition. So according to the Bible you have sin in your life, this doesn't mean you're doomed, if you truly tried to stop and follow God He would forgive you... and to be honest I think Hell is much worse than you...
  11. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

For what its worth, the Judeo-Christian God is said to be a God of order, and that He holds the universe together, so this doesn't seem to be too far off from what I believe; it doesn't include His personality though... The cat exists... Is anyone else thinking of Shrödinger's cat?
  12. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

I see your point, but It seems like there aren't many options outside of God- in the examples you provided there is already sentient life, how did it come about? Although there may be other theories as to how sentient life could develop. Let's assume for jus a moment that I am right, and that...
  13. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

Jesus was aware of the prophecies, but he couldn't have control of all of the outcomes if He was only a man, like being born in Bethlehem, living in Egypt, then living in Nazareth I acknowledge that many of my points only support some kind of deity in general; I'm hoping that if I can convince...
  14. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

Hm... interesting... perhaps that was an inaccuracy on my part, although MAYBE we're missing something, and I don't appreciate the condescension from the video-maker... Either way shouldn't the moon being significantly closer still have a major effect on the climate and orbit, or am I missing...
  15. Serious The Atheism/Agnosticism thread

It is true that natural selection should eliminate harmful genes, but the creation of proteins with novel functions would require a mutation, which could very easily render the gene useless. I find it hard to believe that we evolved these proteins, because we would probably need many mutations...
