    ORAS - The Contest Spectacular

Something I just noticed was that when your pokemon has max affection, pokeblocks increase their stats faster... I don't know if I imagined it, but I kept count on the number of pokéblocks that were supposed to max out my Mawile and it took more than it did for my Clefable... Only difference...

    Tyrantrum

Just something I noticed right off the bat, in the moves description for the Choice Scarf set it reads that Superpower hits "extremely hard after the Band Boost"; I think you got it confused with the Choice Band description.

Ok then, I'll wait for it. Just please keep me in mind for its analysis. :)

NU C&C Index (Reserve Analyses here)

I see no mention of it anywhere (and I do know it is not easy to use) but if it is not taken, I would like to write up on Glalie. I can take the time to test sets and if they are not approved, then so be it. Let me know if I have the green light on that evil beautiful face.

    UU Granbull

As Meru already mentioned it, given that some of its threats have risen to OU, wouldn't the AV set be more viable? I mean, the Nidos can still wreck it, but at least Magnezone won't be around any longer. I don't mean to impose or suggest anything, I'm just asking because all of you seem to be...

np: XY OU Suspect Testing Round 6 - Wrecking Ball [Read Post 423 for Posting etiquette]

Seeing as arguments such as "why I hate" are being used to justify this, I believe trying to argue reasonably would do no good since all of this is coming from personal preference. You people want Mega Mawile gone because you don't like it. Arcanine has intimidate and fair bulk which if...

np: XY OU Suspect Testing Round 6 - Wrecking Ball [Read Post 423 for Posting etiquette]

As one who has never had any trouble with Mawile, I would say what you can do is think. Like in any battle, thinking is key. Scout for their set! Yes, you may lose one of your pokémon against it, but then you'll have an idea of who to gring in to either force it out or cripple it and take it...

np: XY OU Suspect Testing Round 6 - Wrecking Ball [Read Post 423 for Posting etiquette]

People don't have Quag on their team just for Mawile, they have it around for physical setup sweepers. Let's just please stop that fallacy, ok? Also, TheWyvernKing has a very good point on bringing up the lower-tier Pokés that can effectively stop M-Mawile on its tracks. Arcanine is a beauty...

    a flower that isn't a grass-type [Florges]

I think a deffensive CM set works, but it is quite tough to set up (most people just outright do as much as they can to destroy you or stop you from setting up). Though I stll catch some people off-guard with my CM Florges, it's not always that I can pull it off. She's Bold and she's got full HP...

    Pokémon Infernape

I agree on his utility, but you do have to be very careful of who you keep him around nowadays. Though rare, Belly-Jet Azumarill is far more terrifying to it than anything else, IMO (yes, yes, not many ppl actually run that). But anyhow, he still does a great job of cleaning up if the right...

Unofficial UUs (Read Post #13) (don't post bugs here)

If you're running defensive, Scald would be better. Water Pulse packs more of a punch, but Scald's burn chance is just too much of a god-send... Even if you're going offensive, Water Pulse would fall short of Hydro Pump's power (even though its accuracy is better) IMO.

    Pokémon Florges

Wow... So much hate towards Florges on this thread. Anyways, I have been using a Florges in competitive battling, with my friends around here and online, and she is a monster. Took good enough breeding to get HP Ground on her, but she rocks. Though I know I'm going to get a bashing of "Sylveon...

    Pokémon Salamence

I am so glad that the other thread was closed. But anyways, I have to agree with escarlata, mixmence can be seriously dangerous because of its coverage. I am going to start testing these sets out, but I do believe mixmence, scarf mence and the new fat mence seem to be the more useful ones...

    Pokémon Granbull

Noted. :P I knew I was being far too optimistic, but I still got dreams in my head :) Anyways, I think Reflect is a very good option to go slashed with Heal Bell, as some others have pointed out here, it can be a great option to furhter increase this puppy's durability if someone else in its...
