I've been playing Pokemon since I got my first copy of Pokemon Gold Version on the Gameboy Color. I got into compeitive battling a while back and although I peaked in Gen 6, my favorite battling generation is Gen 3 because it feels the most unique with pacing and strategies. Every battle feels different compared to the last and I love the uncertainty, whereas now everything feels much more stagnant and repetitive.
