Sorry if this is duplicate info, but Encore cannot prevent a Z-Move from being called.
Turn 1: Pokemon A uses move 1, Pokemon B uses move 2.
Turn 2: Pokemon A uses Encore, Pokemon B uses Z-Move 3. It succeeds.
It's probably not a super great competitive set, but I have a ton of fun with Focus Sash Mimikyu. It's so satisfying to switch in, Swords Dance on the disguise break, then Swords Dance again and take the Focus Sash, then Shadow Sneak and destroy everything.
I can probably chalk this up to just being new to smogon, but I have a question....
Why is everyone acting like Recover isn't a thing? They both learn it by level up.
EDIT: I was looking at an old movelist by accident, ignore what I was saying about Roost.
In addition, there is a free male hidden ability Eevee available after defeating the Elite Four in B/W2 from what's-her-name that runs the Dream Machine in Castelia.
What counters it: Espeon, Mega-Absol, full stop. Espeon won't take crap from Foul Play, and Mega-Absol resists it. Magic Bounce won't stop Substitute, but thunder wave, swagger, spikes, all suddenly on the wrong side.
