oh, there've also been some major mechanical discoveries that've changed the metagame in the past year or so. let me know if you aren't sure about those~

Normals can't be para'd by Body Slam, paralysis / burn drops happen again if there's a different stat change (so, bro twaves zam, zam's speed gets quartered, bro uses amnesia, zam's speed gets quartered again), and counter getting a big buff are the biggest
