  1. Forcing Shiny Event Legendary Beasts to be Shiny

Indeed, but both seem to have the same base concept. Maybe PO categorizes by variable path, not by letter, or sub-routine names. I'm not sure how PO was written, as I am not the programmer. And I know it is complex. Yet, the only part of the code that makes it so complex in itself is server...
  2. Forcing Shiny Event Legendary Beasts to be Shiny

PO must have some messy coding. I code stuff like that. Sure, nothing as complex as PO, but all you're doing is adding code for a similar mechanic, and while it does have its differences, it seems relatively the same looking at the code of the team-sets. Seems to me that PO has some crazy messy...
  3. CAP1 - Part 17b - (Pre-Evo Dex Entry Poll 3)

Ice-cold Claws BTW, your text editor isn't working well in Firefox. Hope admins notice.
  4. Deoxys (Analysis)

    Don't you mean 'just attack'?
  5. Whadda you all think of my avatar?

Actually, a Tyranitar running dig, assuming that it's a Jolly Choice Band T-Tar couldn't KO with EQuake either, assuming that the Infernape has neutral defensive nature and 252 DEF, and HP EVs. If it were many other a variant, both could KO. So, in a hypothetical calculation, you've been trolled.

Someone who is stoopid. This was just hypothetical calcuations, and the damage dealt within the calculations answered the other person's question; BB isn't Mach Punch, and a T-Tar could survive it.

Actually, I calculated the damage from an infernape packing Brick Break. While my earlier calculations were wrong, a physically defensive T-tar could take the hit with about 1-4 to 1-8 of its HP left. Then, T-Tar could sweep the hell outta that Infernape. This calculation is assuming that the...

Why is Tyranitar still OU? Why is tyranitar still OU? I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT HE SHOULD BE UBER, I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S HOLDING HIM IN OU. It's a real question that's been on my mind. I mean look at that guy; Incredible movepool, very well distributed stats, base stat total 600, and...
  10. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

Even if you were to give Cottonee an Eviolite, Whimsicott and Lilligant are still underused, and they're the evolutions. Eviolite Bayleef surpasses them, and even it didn't get an OU analysis, altough I still feel that it is OU usable, it is probably low-BL at best, considering that it has a...
  11. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

Cottonee? Its stats are terrible. While it can run some rather interesting moves, it is certainly nowhere near that great with a Eviolite. While its moveset is fairly interesting, you'd need to do some baton-passing to make it even able to run its moves. Even then, it doesn't play very well. If...
  12. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

Hmm... I guess Bayleef does have a good lot of checks and counters. It is still not to be overlooked when considering a grass-type staller, but it may not be the right fit for OU. Congratulations, you've successfully convinced me that I shouldn't rely on Bayleef. However, I will definitely not...
  13. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

While Ferrothorn wouldn't have much trouble taking down Bayleef by setting-up, Fire-Types still can't do much to this thing. AncientPower can 2HKO(Save for that evil monster, Heatran) most of them, and Fire-type moves still don't do much when faced with approx-120 base defenses. It would have...
  14. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

Yes, I am. Thank you for taking note of that. I'm relatively new to Smogon, and I just wanted to get word out of how well this set can be run. Anyways, if you ask me, Ferrothorn does not outclass Bayleef at all. With a 4x weakness to fire, Ferrothorn goes down far too easily. The thing's also...
  15. What aren't we writing about? (Pokemon unfit for OU Analyses)

I think that Bayleef Deserves an OU analysis. While previous generations have clearly marked Meganium superior to Bayleef, the new Eviolite may just change that. With this new item, Bayleef can outclass many common stallers, and take down entire teams with its assortment of hazards and...
