been having fun with golisopod in doubles, First impression is actually quite savage. it eats certain stuff like greninja for breakfast, and water bubble plus rain make his aquajets hurts a lot...probably will be in the gimmick area and players will wise up, but is fun nonetheless... Serperior...

I wonder if there is any changes to freeze, considering how burn and para got nerfed... still, probably it still works quite similar, since a big change to how it works wouldn't been unnoticed for that long. (god i hate freezing DX)

i think that in double/triple trappers teams decidueye will want to scout with u turn the counter the very first turn instead of pulling a spirit shackle, say if heatran comes in, then dugtrio traps it immediatly without anyone having to sponge a heatran meaty attack, dugtrio and magnezone...

While the gengar changes are certainly a nerf, I do kinda like it flavor-wise (now gengar is finally the shadow it was aiming to be) But cursed body is a little too lame. If they wanted to give a recurring ghost type ability as equally powerful they could give him prankster, or if they wanted...

while i like its ability and all it pertains, and certainly not shitty on purpose like truant and slow start... it can easily be removed in doubles by a teammate,... now, lets remember certain other water bug type with shitty attack stats but a great ability that just by chance, happens to learn...

the fact that this get entertainment actually just make it quite interesting in doubles...

Can Golisopod change its ability by an attack? I'm more specific to know if it can get a new ability trough entertainment... (yeah, water bubble golisopod)

while not too important, there is another niche to run High Horsepower (how its called in japnese? maybe is not as horse related?) over EQ... It power doesn't get cut in half by grassy terrain, so if you are going to run grassy terrain, HH should be preferable

I totally agree that its special attack, the way this mon is designed, is a huge waste.. I was trying to salvage some utility out of it... Victribell have the same special attack and chesnaught have the same attack as the owl, and submission works as a 80BP physical stabbed attack hitting...

in doubles it may have some niches, besides trick room... im pretty sure this thing could enjoy having either emolga or rimbombee speed, and the enemy wont enjoy having this thing speed... AV and leech life can certainly work, and rimbombee probably would be capable of getting rid of emergency...
