I have to admit, this is absurd. Considering this isn't even maximum power, I think it might lose Heavy Slam. In singles, this could be a bit busted, not so sure about VGC tho, the new megas have gotten really, really fast and most can OHKO it unless it's a bulky set

I don't think anyone was planning on using Scovillian... it's just theorizing on what it could do and how it could be used. And the thing about it is its new. If anyone wanted to play champions with the original megas, there's Natdex. It isn't good, but it's interesting to see it's niche.

On the topic of Mega Malamar... If there was one ability/move/anything that had a chance of saving it, could anything at all save it? Contrary is good, but with those new stats, what are we supposed to do with it? (not that anyone was planning on using it anyways...) Just feels like the "My...

I agree a bit with this, since unlike Scovillian, Victreebel can take an attack, but I also think an offensive ability would work. It's stats are a bit more bulky luckily, but I think the most likely thing is it gets Corrosion and drops to RU. Cuddly, pack your things and let's go see a doctor.

Mega Scovillian might be in the Mega Sableye situation, where people ran Fake Out/Protect on turn one to get it up before switching into another Pokemon to threaten.

I thought a lot about this too. If it got Sythensis, it would be a decent staller with Protect + Leech Seed + Giga Drain/Flamethrower or even Worry Seed to stop abilities like Guts and Heatran's Flash Fire.

They shouldn't have statted it to be frail while giving a defensive ability. More wasted potential imo.

I didn't know it worked like that on cart, oops. I assumed there was two in game ladders. If this is how it works, we're most likely getting a 6v6 mode since they announced private battles.

Even so, removing IVs cut down the skill expression a bit and the options for stats. I think you should be awarded for knowing how the metagame operates and doing something to keep the game in your own control, and I don't think it's fair to force players to have Max attack for their Lunalas and...

I was wondering, now that we do have a Champions OU, how will it be compared to the real game? Unlike SV, there isn't both a 6v6 & BSS option as far as I'm aware, and right now it's bring 6 pick 6, so will there be a seperate tier for BSS that's for the in-game experience and the regulated...
