Messing around with Mega Aggron in conjunction with Wish Salamence. The defensive synergy is neat, and Aggron is an excellent emergency stop to a lot of sweepers which lack STAB super-effective moves. And if they have those, but they're physical, they won't be killing anyway. Problems so far...

My rating peaked at 1714 but I ended with 1685, after 43 wins, 11 losses, and 9 ragequits. Overall I really enjoyed it, although I wouldn't necessarily want the next one to be this metagame... I relied on Zekrom and Tangrowth to kill Keldeo. The first strategy worked only when Zek was healthy...

I've only saved one battle, and it was also... defective. I guess the opponents' mons all being shiny means that's not unreasonable. It's just hard to get exceptionally skillful or memorable battles in 3v3 single.

This tournament is a ton of fun, I'm glad they decided to mix it up again. I'm around 1660 right now. I haven't seem many, but the only DCers I've battled were in the 17 to 1800s so at least they're a tiny bit less petty than in past tournaments, where I've had people in he 1400s ragequit on...

I'll back up the observation that the teams are more diverse (even though mine is more standard than I usually use this time). Mostly nonweather teams. I've won all 12 of my battles thus far, with 3 disconnects. and 1603 with my lovely little team incorporating none other than Aggron. Not sure why but i just haven't been finding many battles, and many of the people I've seen have been Uberless.

Sub is just really, really effective in Rotation. You can often "arrange" things so that you get two turns off the same sub by rotating into a resist or immunity. Choice items are an obnoxious issue for me at the moment. I think the best way to go about it would be to keep the choice user as...
