    Pokémon Basculegion (Male)

I've been having good luck running Aqua Jet in the last slot. The female's attack (92) is better than the male's special attack (80), and with the adaptability boost, it does a deceptively high amount of damage and is real good for getting KOs. Also, something that should be noted about...

    Pokémon Pawmot

Expert belt is tempting. Though I'd still go for Punching Glove for neutral hits and contact protection. And Close Combat would be a better idea than Fire punch. Really all I had it for was checking Scizzor. Not gonna use Revival Blessing though. Need the extra move slots for more punching.

    Pokémon Pawmot

While held back just by just how damned fast this meta is, Pawmot's still good speed, high attack, great ability, and phenomenal coverage pool means that it can certainly pull its own weight. One Pawnch 'Mon Pawmot @ Muscle Band/Punching Glove Ability: Iron Fist Tera Type: Flying EVs: 252...

    Pokémon Dondozo

Weather I've found can be dealt with just by bringing Dondozo out early. It's not perfect, but Toxic+Sandstorm will take Tatsugiri out in only a few turns. Which Dondozo can usually last unless the opponent has something that hard-checks them. In this case, running Protect in place of Yawn may...

    Pokémon Dondozo

As someone who's been running exclusively Dondozo and Tatsugiri sense starting Gen 9 on showdown, yes, I'd say it absolutely is. It does have its weaknesses, having to pull double-duty means that 4mss is quite apparent. And activating commander locks you in; meaning anything that shuts Dondozo...

    Pokémon Flamigo

One strategy I've seen frequently employed in doubles is comboing Flamigo with Dondozo and Tatsugiri. By setting it up so that Tatsugiri faints after activating Commander (done by giving them a Toxic orb and Endure while an ally uses explosion), Dondozo will keep the 2x stat boost but still...

Resource Simple Questions, Simple Answers Thread

I know that They changed it so that speed calculations are redone between moves, but does this apply to trickroom aswell? IE if Whimsicott uses prankster trick room, will the slowest pokemon go next ala tailwind, or is trickroom different thus meaning that the fastest pokemon goes next?

Resource Doubles Overview, Rules, and Q&A - Ask Questions Here! (Resource Index Inside)

I noticed earlier that Gmax Orbeatle is allowed despite the Gravity clause. Is this an oversight? Or is it being permitted because of it not only being linked to your Dynamax, but also because it's on a pokemon that you really wouldn't want to Dynamax in the first place?

If banning GT is out of the question, then yes, Garm is ban worthy. as it stands, nearly everyone here agrees that Garm is too much, all of the debate was just around how to fix it. I'd also say quick ban, It's clear that he has to much going for him, and if you have that tournament coming up...

unfortunitly, I don't think it's going to get anywhere. Everyone agrees that something needs done about Garm, the issue is that we have 2 different ways to go about it, both with strong reasons for and against, and even a bit of overlapping logic for both sides.

That's the thing, Neither of them are the problem on there own, it's the combonation of them that is OP. Thus, we only need to remove 1 to solve the issue. The way I see it is that you can't play an ability, and Garm is the only pokemon with said ability. So, if we remove the ability, we get to...

on the flip side, I could just as easally point out that Garm itself isn't the broken element either. It's strong, sure, but it's much less overwealming when it doesn't have double damage right out the gate from CBCB. It's the combonation of both Garm's sweeper stats and GT's damage boost that...

I stand with banning GT over Darm in general. While I'm not too familiar with the competative scene, I think it would be healthier overall banning the problematic aspect over going full Scorched earth. -Why is Garm Overpowered?: Gorilla tactics -is Garm overpowered without gorilla tactics?: No...

    Pokémon Dracovish

oh boy. let me check. based on the calculator, a max-damage dracovish set does 59-70% of health to a Ferrothorn, while water bubble does 79-93% damage to ferrothorn, which makes sense considering we're loosing the strongjaw boost. Ironically, Dracovish already does so much damage that this...
